Trafficmaster, a leading UK provider of GPS stolen vehicle tracking and installed satellite navigation, has appointed Celsus, the specialist in car audio accessories, as its main distributor of Trackstar, stolen vehicle tracking and Smartnav, dynamic satellite navigation. The partnership allows Trafficmaster to benefit from Celsus’ established and reputable relationship within the independent car accessory retail network. It currently works with many high street retailers and independent specialists, providing anything from fascia’s, stalk controllers, harnesses, sound deadening, amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers through to high end speed camera detectors. Celsus will be able to take advantage of Trafficmaster’s award winning technology. Trackstar will be Celsus’s primary focus. It is widely recognised for its reliability, accuracy and its proven ability to recover vehicles in extremely quick times. It provides round the clock security and is able to pinpoint the exact location of the vehicle and track its speed and direction. It is also the official stolen vehicle tracking solution for BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover. Smartnav satellite navigation will also be distributed to independent retailers. It is a unique system that is supported by 24 hour personal assistants who can download routes to a vehicle in seconds. In addition it directly uses Trafficmaster’s real time traffic information to calculate the most efficient and quickest routes. It has proven to save drivers around four hours a month.
