Ballistic sound dampening material is an elastomeric butyl and aluminium layered vibration dampener that conforms and fuses easily with sheet metal and other hard surfaces. The product comes in five dedicated kits; SSLICB, SSSK, SSDK, SSTKT or SSBK. These range from the SSLICB number plate kit through the speaker and door kits, to the SSTKT and SSBK kits for boots and bulkheads, all cut to the right kinds of shapes and sizes for the job at hand. Compared to their competitors, Ballistic also claim that their product is thicker, meaning that naturally the dampening capacity is improved.
