BEAT DVB-T TUNERS
BEAT has launched two new DVB-T tuners into the UK market, the DVB-100 and the DVB-200.
The DVB-100 is a more basic digital TV receiver but comes with one output for GPS or DVD player and another for an active antenna (although it does support a passive antenna). The DVB-200 is a more comprehensive offering, that gives automatic frequency switching and low power consumption. One of the key abilities of the DVB-200 diversity tuner though is it’s real-time TV recording capability, which adds to the USB and MP3/Mpeg4 playback facility. On top of this there are also two AV inputs via two three-port RCA jacks and like the DVB-100 this model also supports passive and active antennae. Both models also support auto channel, Teletext and channel preview, meaning dealers now have more options when catering for customers who want digital terrestrial TV on the move.
