JVC GOES ANDROID
JVC Mobile Entertainment has announced it will heavily promote Android control for 2012 with the introduction of three keenly priced media receivers.
Connecting an Android phone to the USB port of one of the new units will enable customers to control the music with the track up/down, play and pause buttons on the head units with artist and title shown on the radio display. The up-spec model will enable gesture control of volume, EQ and source selection from a connected Smartphone. The three units will also control iPod and iPhone functions and are either Bluetooth equipped or Bluetooth ready, breaking new ground in the pricing of Bluetooth equipped units.
